Up Early ...

. . . on a Friday morning.  Just put in 42 minutes of running in the cold.  Actually, I was pretty warmed up: nothing better than putting that old CUA hoodie to use.

This morning we'll finish our week-long seminar on Jesus and then I'll head down the street to Blessed Sacrament for an hour.  Then it's into Manhattan on Halloween for coffee with a friar I met in Detroit.  Michael Crosby has written a couple of books - and while I'm not sure I agree with him on a few things (or anything, for that matter), it will be a good conversation because of, and not in spite of, our differences.

For those of you wondering, no I'm not dressing as a friar -- that's bad luck.  Maybe next year.

peace,
matt
