The pot roast is brown and currently "wet cooking" or something like that. Or maybe the term is "damp heat." I'm not sure. But it's in the oven and going -- so that is a good/great thing.

Also on the menu, mashed potatoes, carrots in brown sugar, peas with ice cream and fruit salad for dessert. Cheese and crackers for the pre-game festivities.
