30 April 2010

Temperatures at the start of the race will be in the mid 60s. We expect to start the race under the green flag. At noon the temperature will reach the mid 70s. Combined with the humidity, this may put us under the yellow flag, suggesting a moderate risk for heat injuries. Rain is likely during the race. As you know, weather is relatively unpredictable. Please watch for the flags posted at all of the aid stations along the course. Adjust your pace (slow down) and fluid intake accordingly if the yellow or red flags are posted.
