Things to Read

From the NYT Book Review, a few items that caught my eye:

Harold Bloom wrote an well-crafted review of a book on British anti-Semitism.  Say what you want about Bloom, his methods or his opinions, this man can write.  Even if you have no intention of reading the book he reviews, the very act of reading the review will be a pleasurable one.

Francis Fukayama reviewed a new biography on Friedrich Nietzsche.

Bill McKibben wrote a book sounding an environmental alarm.  Judging by the review, the picture he paints is bleak.
