Advice from GBM

In a heretofore unpublished letter, Giovanni Battista Montini offered the following advice to Sister Maria Ignazia of the Holy Innocents.

Try to read a good book, especially of Christian doctrine or of holy souls, and to make of the recitation of the Office the most dear and important of occupations.  Thus the spirit will be inwardly rich and happy, and feel the pains and external distractions less.
