The Great People You Meet

Received an email yesterday from a Honduran friar with whom I spent the summer a few years ago.  He was a novice then; I was attempting to figure out whether the life of a friar was still supposed to be mine.

He's simply professed now.  I'm looking forward to ordination this spring/summer and made final vows last May.

And we still exchange emails in Spanish: mine broken, his simple for my sake.

Ain't God good?

Yep! God is good all the time; all the time, God is good. I share these words with a woman here at "the Heart" almost every Sunday. I believe and have the constant recipient of His extravagant goodness in so many ways. Rejoice in His many favors to you. I am so looking forward to your Ordination. I'll keep the prayers coming.
